I've been noticing lately that my dogs have been running there pads off pretty quick. I'm pretty sure its because my kennels i have now have wood for the flooring. My last kennels were concrete and I didn't seem to have this problem. Any suggestions on what I can put in my kennels to toughen up there feet? I know I can put stuff on there pads that help but I don't want to have to do that all the time.

Roofing shingles in front of their dog house and around their water bowl place them where they have to step on them

Paint the floor with that roll on bed liner stuff that's like line X . It's pretty gritty and rough. I don't know if it works or not. Might be worth a try though. It just came to me while reading this post.
