I'm confused. Where have the upgrades really actually been made from the 320, besides allowing to TRACK and only track the TT collars? Which I honestly don't know anyone who owns TT collars who doesn't already own an Alpha...

Slim, I read up on them as much as I could this morning, The only other differences I saw was a faster (2.5) second update and the ability to track 20 dogs as opposed to 10 dogs on the 320. O and don't forget the new orange paint job they have. I think it would be much more well received had they enabled the new unit to track ALL garmin collars. I know that they no longer sell or work on the dc30s and dc40s but I still know ALOT of guys that run those collars, hell I ran a 320 with 4 dc40s that worked perfectly this entire season, just sold it sunday with zero issues. Only reason I sold the astro was to grab an alpha.

I think a big part of this 430 is getting something new on the market. The alpha and 320 have been out for a while. My gut tells me they are working on a better alpha, but they are years away from releasing- but they could not wait that long, they had to release something to keep sales going up. The 430 has a couple upgrades, but nothing significant over the 320. At least they can tell investors that they have one new product out.
Agree with SLIM on tracking the TTs. I also like the 2.5 seconds, but I am more concerned about how far it can track than the difference in update in seconds. To me the difference between 5 seconds and 2.5 is not a huge improvement.

I give Siri a try the other day. My truck said 0 mpg on it. I was driven I told Siri dumb a$$ " find gas station" there is s "gas station 11 miles ahead on the left" I was pushing it. Sure nough. I pass a gas station about 2 miles up. She's wacko! Good luck Chris lol
