So as some of you may know I moved to Houston after I got out of the military in Dec 2015 so after I got on this form and asked for some one to give me some info on hog dogging in Texas soon after Mike invited me to hunt with him(one of the best guys I ever met) 2 weeks after my 1st texas hog hunt with dogs I got my bulldog keo from underdog she had only seen 2 pigs but I didn't care I wanted her after he seeing a few more she new what her job was to the point where in the morning I would walk out to let her out of her kennel and put her vest on and she would pick her feet up and put them in all I had to do was hold the vest and buckle it...well today I get a call from my wife right after I fell of my trailer at work and almost blew out my knee she said that keo was stuck in her kennel fence trying to get out and she needed the bolt cutters to cut the fence and was hardly breathing I told her where they were and got off the phone and called peach creek to ask about over heating he told me to rub some alcohol on her belly and put her next to a fan I got off the phone as soon as I hung up my wife called back and in a cracked voice said she tried every thing she could do bit she died in her arms next came how to explain this to our 4 year old son well I get home we buried her and my son said a prayer for her  i never want to lose a dog but i much rather her get killed by a rank rust boar then the dam heat R.I.P keo you will be missed

Kai, I know it sucks, but it happens sometimes. Whenever y'all are ready we'll find you another bulldog. Sorry for your loss... I know momma and the kids were attached to her.

Hate to hear it I really liked the looks of her, the best  way for the kids to get over it is to have a new puppy to play with.Sorry for the loss Bud.
