Yes sir? it's getting real hot ! The colored hounds are Travis's ..I believe they all go back to a famous proven sire named drifter ( July x trigg x cur cat dog line? ) owned by a man named Jp ( Lionboarhunter) I've never meet him , but I hear about that Drifter dog a lot . When I think of Travis's dogs I think bottom and incredible noses .. They will stick with a runner for a very long time and are in great shape to do it . Last hunt his dogs ran a hog so long that it ended up dying from shock / heart attack once it hit the water miles away from where we were. That little Ann dog left us last year and went 2 miles away right to a big boar hogs bed room .. I mean we were in his bedroom haha He's got another dog named Percy I really like too .. It's got 2 blue eyes and when that dog winds from a buggy you'd think it just got hit with a bolt of lighting .. He also knows which ones have colder noses , so he can put them down accordingly

Chris I pretty sure you can tell from my post I'm not a know it all or a s@hyI or a know it all. but what do y'all call cold nosed dogs. I think it would be great to put on a composition, we're you only had a could feeds go watch with a camera catching the time them have all the cold nosed dogs try one by on. Now you wit would have to have a couple feeders set up like this, but notif let then strike the feeder for at least 12 hours then see how long it took to work it out andbay the hog. Just thought it would be interesting.

That is a young pup out of the same linage I believe ., ( trig x July ,x cur ) I don't know much about him because he's still really young . I liked what I saw from him today tho .. Stayed busy and bayed a hog As far as colder nose dogs I just mean if he see's a track that doesn't look as fresh he can pick a dog that historically will start and pick up an older scent trail more so then the others . I think they do have trailing competitions ..im not sure what all is involved tho Probably fun
