I'm sitting here at work with not too much to do, figured I would share a couple videos of some pups baying.  The first videos are of my four pups getting after their first coon (7 months old).  The second set of videos was from two weekends ago on their first hog (in the woods).  Three of the pups are mine and one belongs to a buddy.  All 8 months and first hog.

Hog

Oh by the way- right before I started video, the big black pup in the back was taught a lesson about getting to close.  But he stayed in there after getting thrashed.

Pups did a fine job. Catch dog ain't gonna have any trouble locating them when they are bayed!

Do you run your dogs on both hogs and Coon?

Shotgun- yeah they all have good mouth.  I will start them on coon, house cats, or anything else that will run or tree (minus deer and coyotes).  I had that coon in a cage and I was working the pups.  I started to drag the cage to excite the pups and the door popped open.  Mr. Coon didn't make it far and they caught him on the ground.  He was able to fight his way loose and he hit the water- he never made it back to dry land alive.

Pwilson- That hog is in the woods.  I wish I had a big woods pen like that.

I leave for Wisconsin to run bear tomorrow.  I hope that I can get them on several good running bear that end up treeing.
