Good Barr, first pickup bed ride and tale pulling for a little pony.

Well first off we had a split bay, 1 was a coyote bay and the other one the hog hit the lake, so we rounded everything up. We found were some hogs had been wallowing  , so we put out and about 1.35  later my walker gyp showed bayed. We got in hearing distance and turned some young dogs loose. They sure put on a fine bay job, it sure was nice getting to watch a bay in open river bottom, kinda reminded me of days gone by. I had been wanting to use my new Henry mares leg with a 22 short, so I did.

Forgot to add we figured the Barr was about half guinea.

  that's what I like ....we  should catch some good ones  this  year  we  cut 45 since last year .....   might have a touch of potbellie in him ...  I believe all the geunie hogs  is gone ... my daddy  use  to hunt for old  timers  on the sabine in the 60's and 70's  he brought home some geunies and some  with waddles  but they got killed out like they all do .....

  guess there is some left ....but the ones  we  had was possum headed like a rooter but  so fat there eyes squenched .....

Were I hunt the woods use to be full of guinea hogs, that's what everybody used for their grease.
And we still have some red and blue wattle as well.
