This is Trina, she is  1/2 Plott x 1/4 Mountain Cur x 1/4 BMC
11 months old

She was actually put in a pen several months ago, and could care less about the pigs in there. Yesterday Mandi and I were doing some work at the back of the property, and on our way back in we saw her pig "Delta" had wondered into the round pen. We decided to let Trina in there to see what she would do.

All of our other cur dogs would just catch her, so we put her Aussie dog in with her to get her started.I think at this point she needs to be put in with something that will back her up a little bit. However, if nothing else, this was a good confidence builder. Here is some video.

BTW, this is the round pen that is half finished with the cedar slabs.

Here is a video of Mandi and Delta after the baying.
The Aussie dog is Lena, and can be called out of a Bay, and put in "stay" within a few feet of the pig.

Looks like she took after her momma.......bark, bite, bite, bark, bark, bite, bite  Wink.  I like her bark, you can hear it really good, I think she is ready for the real deal., a hog that would set up and bay would do her wonders, poor Delta is looking for the escape hatch.  Delta sure has grown since the last time I saw her!!!
