It's 3 days before bow season figured I'd go ahead and wrap it up for a couple months.. After the first frost I'll start hunting the marsh but until then I'll be laying low... Ended the season with about a 100 head caught not counting tournament hogs. We ended up winning the Chris jones tournament. Heavy 10 with a 199.1 lb avg, and longest stringer with 21 head. This year was pretty rough on me as far as dogs I lost 5 good solid cur dogs. 2 being the best I've ever owned. And I burnt up a good bulldog in the tournament. Here's a few pics of the better 1's I tied.

Biggest boar hog I've ever tied

Thanks fellas, It was tough no doubt about that.. I had to put Fletcher(2y/o) down due to some hip issues from being bred a little to close. A bay busted before the Bulldogs
Hit and ace put in the race and ran a pretty decent boar hog for a mile before they caught him. I juiced him with pedialyte through the night but never was able to pull him out of it. Mizell got a poke in the chest so small we couldn't find it until we opened him up at the vet  and bled out on me 6 min after getting him on the table. Red man was running a boar hog across 321 and got hit by a car. I had momma loaned out to a friend who was starting a few young dogs. they bayed a stud up in some backwater and she was bad rough anytime something hit the water she took a bad cutting and drowned. The biggest boar hog in the pics above got the best of Sammy he passed before we could get him out of the woods.... I had 8 cur dogs in January and Febraury that I could take to any type of country and they would go get bayed didn't matter if they had to run him a mile or put on a 6 hour race they could do it... By June I was stripped of the privledge to hunt behind some of the best I'll ever own.
