I know it's a change of pace...

But relevant bone the less. Considering we value the right to exchange view and bicker about and read about and study things in terms of dogs and hunting and any other darn thing we want...

Man this medium had become so valuable in our time to keep us connected with folks of like mind and to share stories and research any topic. This coming from a single guy that raises two A grade children by himself, works, pays taxes, hasn't owned a television in 4 years, still uses an I-phone 3 and whose kids have better phones then him that he payed for...but I'm content....about alot of things....just some infringements seem to cross the line...seems moreso as of late.

Sure wouldn't trust the UN and it's collective union of sheep, including countries that mean to defeat what we stand for and meek EU sell outs, to run it.

Im just wondering how this inter net hand over next month will effect the US population's web access and how much will be censored, how it will effect the inter net bills, go up, go down or stay the same. It may effect those doing online education and even in school courses that require research papers with nearly everything digitized. Its going to be a "fun" ride after 1 oct with online access.

the first thing I will say...if Ted Cruz was running against Hillary our gun rights would not be in jeopardy of being lost because he would be leading by a land slide...

Hillary like Obama would probably like to take away as many of our rights as possible.

The internet is a wonderful tool where we can talk about anything within reason...the far right and the far left it does not matter...as long as it is respectful...no problem...

the united nations are made up of many nations and they have been wanting to take away our gun rights for many years...and you can bet there will be other restrictions if they take over the internet...

what will happen first over the years will be regulated speech and we will only speak about what the government deems acceptable and if were are out of those boundaries we will be arrested or shut down one way or another...that's if we want to continue using the internet...

The constitution was written to prevent too much government interference...those who wrote it came from a place that was ruined by over regulation and they set the constitution up to prevent that from happening...yet we have those that want to take those rights away...

I once used to believe that the majority vote rules in a free society...in some cases it should apply...but in my older age I disagree with that system...

the minority should not implement laws for the majority in a free society...

there should be basic laws written to protect all groups within a society...the constitution should be edited to give more individual freedoms than not...

an example of personal/individual rights...if Joe and Jane Doe like to fish and hunt they should be able to do so because of a constitutional right...and not be able to not hunt on account of a minority who say they can't because of their anti-hunting and anti-fishing beliefs...or for Jane and Joe to not be able to hunt and fish because of a majority vote...

those who do not agree with hunting and fishing is just fine and dandy...they don't have to hunt and fish...it is their right...but don't try to impose it on others...

Jane and Joe Doe should be able to hunt because of constitution rights that says they can...of course we can use common sense and monitor the game and fish populations and adjust limits accordingly...and these rules should be in black and white where no one can throw in a monkey wrench because of a law that is hard to interpret...

and if the internet gets taken over...what I just wrote probably will label me as troublemaker and I could be fined or at the very least have my writings deleted and warned to not do it again...and those rights will go by the wayside and we will never get them back...if can all realize that...then maybe we will never allow it to happen...

I sometimes write my thoughts on the net in hopes that some of the seeds I cast will take root and multiply...

You are right reuben, to much gov over reach and power. When a gov to powerful and is no longer for the people, it is the right of the people to remove the gov and institue a new gov. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of thrants and patriots. Right now, there isnt much blood being shed by the tyrants and only a little by patriots. I guess it just goes to show how many patriots are out there. A small group here and there cant stand against the gov or their hench men/women for very long and are then labeled domestic terrorists. Its way past the time to remove the gov. I only wish it will happen sooner than later so our children wont have to fight in it.

OH, it can be stopped if enough people would stand up and fight. these isolated groups are taken down much to easy and labeled terrorists. they can't take down 10-20, even 30 thousand people IF they all stay banded together. with that many people, they would have to call in the military and some within the military wouldn't fight some will. those that do, well will suffer a traitor fait. there has to be enough pissed off masses to achieve the start, and once that happens, more will join. it won't be quick and easy victory, but eventually, this country can go back to what it was

I, and alot of you, feel we raised our kids right and continue to in old principles and values.

But I feel do dang sorry for them at times.

Charles I hope and want what you wrote to be the truth...

The president  has been set. The trap is waiting to be sprung in some ways. The US has even laid the bait.

We under the guise of the UN have invaded and melded in other countries business for decades instead of tending our own. Whether its was a devised plan or just plain stupidity.  Those countries folks should have been made to affect their own change thru civil uprising or ingest their syrup no matter how distasteful for decades until the changed from within and when they messed with us should have been obliterated accordingly. Not under some coalition UN or EU front. I feel it's been somewhat of a grand disguise at this point.

Now that the president has been set. It seems plausible that what our armed forces does or does not do is irrelevant. The UN is a one world big brother thing.

Think about it..

Just as America had used their vote and persuasion on this stage to prompt others if we were in the predicament china, Iran and Russia on a global scale could use theirs in a case of widespread americsn civil unrest.

Claiming it was for the world global economy and so fourth.

Any regime change is plausible under this cloak.

Esp if the government that sold out the constitution and brainwashed (almost) a whole generation with sjw bs...

Conceivably we would not be facing our internal struggle but the UN could come to the 'aid' of our rouge government and we would be facing troops from Nations such as Britian, Germany, France and other EU nation traditionally allies, as well as Russia, china, Iran and many that would be frothing at the mouth for such and opportunity...

We need to succeed from the UN and mind our own business and build our own infastructure and handle our own problems using our singularly unique constitution and the rights afforded by it for all americans,of any ethincity under the nationalistic unbrella of being american, this is what we stand for. until we are dragged in and then crush our oppositions with the mite we have and never ask for permission. That's how America's greatest generation once saved the world and insured freedom for it own folks and other countries around the world if its what their citizens wanted

China seems to have stolen that playbook although they approached it from a tyranticle directions making them much weaker from the onset from within. Our strength used to lie in our rights and freedoms.

The British succeeded from the EU. Good for them...they shouldn't be forced to swallow the pill the French and Greek and Germans and Belgians swallow. Next step for them and us is the succession from the UN and dismantling of this supreme bafoonery. If folks want change and rights in their countries it's up to them to affect it...not the global community.

Hell there is no global community. Just a hodgepodge of values and religions that don't mix on any level.

well them blue helmets make a better target than a camouflaged 1. it wouldn't be there first brits spilled blood on american soil, and it wouldn't be the first time a bunch of kraut's blood was spilled by americans, and the french, well the french or just that, french, not much good to say bout them. but i feel IF and hopefully when such an uprising took place again here in america, we might get aid and assistant from the brits, especially if the UN steps in. but even if the UN did, i think there are enough folks between the ages of 18-50 that can and will stomp ass if it came down to it, they are just waiting on that fuse to be lit and it get close enough to them. IF, IF IF IF, 10,000 marched into DC and demanded the politicians step down or be put down, there wouldn't be enough feds even from all the agencies to handle that many, and some of them would "defect", even some of the old timer soldiers still in would "defect". a foreign entity comes in to take over, yea, all the forces would repel the invasion, but when it comes to our own, a good bit (25-30%) of our forces, especially the spec ops, would "defect". its a chain reaction, once it starts, there will be more and more and more coming to the aid of righting america again. heck, look at the incident in oregon where they exercised their right to use the public land and buildings, it wasn't many of them and they even turned a lot of folks away bc they wanted it to be civil. yea, how did that turn out for them? 1 assassinated in the snow, and the rest tucked tail and gave up. once the feds started choking them out, stopping any and all supplies from going in, they were screwed. heck, i even thought of getting into a lil helicopter flying down there and resupplying them, but the feds put up a dang TFR (temporary flight restriction), rendering that idea useless. if they woulda just asked for help after they were cut off, there woulda been some (me included) who would have flanked the feds and caught them in a cross fire. i had my at&t with 1000 things of beans, my speedy gonzoles with bout 2000 pep pills and enough supplies to choke the feds out. i really was hoping that oregon deal was going to the match stick to light it off, but it was a dud.

NOW, as for those in this country causing a lot of the troubles in the news, it would be all out war, in the city, they might stand a 25% chance of winning in the big metro areas, but in the country, 0.0% chance. it would be a fight on 2 fronts, but a needed fight  none the less. it need to happen.

yes, there are a LOT of the younger generation that probably couldn't tell an apple from pile of poo on a taste test, but there are still a LOT that could see the difference and wouldn't need to taste it. even with where i work, oregon, and portland at that, there are a LOT of country minded folks where i work and in the sticks of oregon that wouldn't side with this modern generation of pansies. even if there were 50% pansies, 10% the afore mention problem people (blm bp), 10% for the fight, 10% that would support once it got rolling, and the remaining 20% undecided, once the undecided see that being part of the 50%ers won't fair to well (starvation, targeted and snuffed by the afore mentioned). even some of those 50%ers would have a come to JESUS moment and either chit or get off the pot, knock the dust off and roll out.
I can only hope and pray it happens and happens soon.

You will find numerous hits. This has been going on since 2011 with dif seemingly innocuous  executive orders.

Some are fantastic conspiracy stuff but where there is smoke there is fire.
