this is my old rooster dog. He was 3/4 leopard hound 1/4 cur. Trashy as they come, loved a deer. About 18 months old he finally got his last whooping and decided he wanted to go straight hogs. That's me, him, and his first hog he ever struck, ran, and bayed on solo till the catch dog got there.

Nope nothing like Catahoula's. They are open and are tree dogs. You can use them on other things but they are tree dogs first and foremost.

I have a buyers guide book that I put together in 2015. It has a lot of colored pics and history of leopards. If you would like one then let me know.

Yup they sure do. They can be almost identical in appearance. The one thing about the line I run that is different than most catahoulas in appearance is mine have a double coat. American Leopard Curs can vary a great deal in appearance too just depending on the line it is from. Mine are big game bred but Leopard curs make great coon dogs too just FYI.

Mike Rogers has some really nice leopards too, and that year book that he is talking about is really cool. You will find a lot of great pics in there.
