David Hise is quite the story teller for sure...he's a dog man through and through...I have met him and have talked with him  on occasion...

Where is this man from? I would really like to meet him and talk with him someday. Don't meet men like that often enough.

All dog men owe Brett Vaughn a great deal of gratitude, he's the only one I know who travels the country on his own dime and own time to document these old dog men before they're gone and they take their knowledge with them...

Yup we sure do. He makes some real good hunting videos too, he's a really good houndsman himself.

Watched the entire second video last night and learned something new, Mr. Hise mentioned you can't give dexamethasone to a dog you have to sew up bc the stitches will pull out, stands to reason bc I can sew a dog up pretty good but have had issues with them pulling out and the dex is the only common denominator I can think of...

Mr Hise lives right outside of Roswell New Mexico.  We just got back from a great little  short visit there a couple weeks ago. A lot of Knowledge there on breeding and hunting.   We  hope to make it there again for a little jack and yote hunting next year.  Mr Vaughn has some great little youtube videos.  He did several videos on old time hunters. Worth watching everyone of them.
