Did you look and see what the worming topic pinned above and see if there is something in there that would help you?

Bowtech99...back in the 1980s nemex was about 7 or 8 bucks a bottle and it wormed 100 pounds of puppies or dogs...active ingredient is pyrantel...
I would buy the pyrantel for horses...it comes in a paste and worms 1200 pounds for the same price...the original was called "strongid G"...now they come in different names...even generic...only kills hooks and rounds....but those two worms are definetly not good for the pups...hooks can kill pups pretty quick...

I saw the paste at tractor supply while I was buying Ivomec, how do you tell how much to use when it's meant for such a high weight? I know it has the little click settings but each "click" still treats well over a 100 lbs right? Do you just squeeze out some paste and guesstimate how much to give? I've really been wanting to try it but don't want to mess it up.

I think the active ingredient is pyrantel pamoate...it is pretty forgiving...I give about 100 lbs worth to a fifty pound dog...between 1/16" and 1/8" from tube for 1 week old pups from 50 to 60# parents...

I second the revival animal health web site, you can get a big bottle labeled for human use that's stronger than vet formula for around 30.00$...

I give all my pups the pyrantel poamate almost weekly for the first few months, one time I gave ivomectin to some pups about 4 weeks old it was 1/10 of a cc and they grew to be some of the biggest thickest dogs I've ever raised, don't know if it was coincidence or what but previous litters and litters afterwards off same parents never got that big...

Was at the vet last year and saw a new wormer that treated EVERYTHING including heart worms, it was moxidectin and praziquantel mix, did a little homework and it's the same as quest plus, I mix one whole tube with 50ccs of water and give 1cc per ten pounds usually twice a year...

Ivomectin orally in the winter months and alternate between Sub-que and IM during the summer months....

Be very careful when using the quest plus, I give some paste to some pups a few years ago and when I say a drop smaller than a number 2 pencil eraser Im being generous, and killed one and made the others extremely sick...

I started mixing mine with water so I know there's equal amounts of the ingredients mixed, I should've been more clear I'll use it and then again in two weeks and about 6 months later I'll repeat, I've haven't had a worm issue in a long time, if you nip a problem in the bud before it has a chance to become a problem then it's easy to control...

I feel there is no need in giving it once a month, if you keep your dogs flea free then you just about eliminate tape worm problems and if you keep your pens and chain areas clean then you help out considerably with other internal parasites...

Let me add something about de worming, my father in law usually back grounds and pre conditions several thousand head of yearlings a year, one year himself and several other men were losing cattle left and right, they could not figure out what was causing it, cattle were all taken good care of and other wise seemed healthy finally a necropsy was done on few deads and they all came back death because of internal worms, these cattle were on a stringent worming routine from the time they were still nursing, the vet stated that he had been warning farmers for years about the intestinal worms building up resistance to ivomectin, everybody uses it so over time parasites evolve and build resistance to it, I used to mix several wormers together thinking I was creating the ultimate wormer but noticed after a year of doing this I was having more issues with worms that I previously didn't, I see folks selling an all in one wormer on the Internet, it's a neat novelty to think of but in the end your helping the parasites to build up resistance to a wide range of de wormers...

Safeguard for cows is the best thing I've found now days.
You can but safeguard for dogs with the same ingredients but it will cost you too much. A 1000ML bottle cost me a little over 100$ and the best I remember I can worm 47 grown dogs. It will kill all the worms except Hart worms.
But you have to give it in a 3 day dose, for a grown dog I do 7,5,3cc
