HELLO HOG HUNTERS!!!   The time is getting real close for our 5th annual CHRIS JONES MEMORIAL HOG HUNT!!!  There are a few NEW things we got going on this year......

FIRST....on Friday March 24th, which is THIS FRIDAY, we will be having a crawfish boil at the Prigdeon Center in Franklin, TX while doing the SIGN UPS for the hog hunt !!! There will be a $10 donation charge for each plate that includes 3 lb of crawfish and all the fixings (corn, potatoes, sausage, etc.)

SECOND....CJ MERCHANDISE will be there if anyone is wanting shirts, hoodies, CJ RTIC cups, and koozies.

THIRD....we are also doing a FANTASTIC RAFFLE with all kinds of awesome and amazing things that people have so generously sponsored and donated from all over.   Raffle tickets are $10.00 each or (6) for $50.00......the tickets can be purchased at the Pridgeon Center during the sign ups, on Sunday at the weigh-in or from Melissa Lightfoot, Nicholas Owens, Steve Jones, Walter Commander, Russell Smith and Leah Garrett Wilson.  We will also have tickets available at Navasota Valley Electric Company and Smith Cleaners, both located in Franklin.  Below is a list of the RAFFLE items .......ALL PROCEEDS go to the Chris Jones Scholarship Fund for graduating Seniors at Franklin High School.

1) One team member must be present for sign-up & rules announcement
2) 1-4 team members per team, with 2 helpers: Helpers are NOT allowed to use their own dogs. No restrictions on rules of helpers handling hogs.
3) Team members must hunt together at all times.
4) Hogs are defined as feral free ranging hogs that are not previously trapped, raised and released for the purpose of this hunt.
5) No high fence hunting allowed.
6) All hogs must be able to walk across the scales.
7) No early weigh-ins. Can come as early as 1pm but no later than 4pm. GATES will be locked.
Cool All rules are strictly enforced on the polygraph test.
