We hunted the Boars of Texas this weekend. It was our best weekend yet we started at 5 on Friday at 5 and stopped at 10 on Sunday... but it just wasn't in the cards on heavy 5 with a 225 average. We won the stringer last year here but couldn't pull it out. We got beat by some guys from south Texas I believe. We walked 35 hogs and 31 were over a 100#'s. We had 6 good stringer hogs dead in the trailer. Just got packed in there a little too tight, weren't chewed up bad at all. We killed another 28 or tied them throughout the hunt under a 100#'s... heck of a time, just didn't catch the weight we needed. We put 5111#'s of pork through the scales. Too much chaos to relive it all. Fun times with good people. Mathew, Mike, Casey, Vince, nick, Thomas and Marshall all put in the work to make it happen

Am I misunderstanding this or are you saying you caught 69 total?

No just 65 total that we put our hands on. Know telling how many more pigs or shoats the dogs crunched

We hunted 3 different places. We really got pretty lucky on the numbers. They weren't big places or really even tournament holes just a couple good spots that hadn't been hunter in a year.

lol thanks everyone. It's a lot of work and a lot of time feeding and raising that many dogs. Ol Boogie sure is leaving his mark.

We'll see what the tourney spot looks like for bumpers!
