Well my least favorite time of the year is around the corner. Planted fields are nice, but corn sucks, mainly because it's still 80degrees at 12am about the time It's got ears, oh and no wind. Anyways decided to hit some freshly planted fields with my father in law who's been itching to go. Took Max whetto and two new catch dogs. Caught two fat sows and a one hander in about 30mins. Lost a good bulldog last week to a rank boar bit was lucky enough to get two more good ones that are looking good

Good hunt! I like hunting the grain too... but I turn out at daylight and trail them to their beds. They usually bay pretty good cause their bellies are full from eating all night haha.

Haha I'll have to Give that a try once everything's eared up. I'm almost always hunting at night by then.
