The guy I got this gyp from said she was a lacy dog but I'm not sure. She's black as can be, her head isn't the same shape as the lacys I've had before. A guy on Facebook sent me a picture of his Parker cur male that looked almost identical to mine but I don't know anything about Parker dogs. Anyone know about these dogs?

I cant speak for all of em but i have hunted a few times with a guy that had a real nice pack of parkers, hard hunting hit the ground runnin type dogs. I really liked en myself.

I looked them up and thought the same thing. And I've never seen a black lacy like that..

she's pretty black.. as dark or darker than the pit..

in the pics with her looking away, to her right, her muzzle looks lighter than the rest of her.  like her muzzle is blueish

It's actually brown. I can see what you mean though. Think the sun was just right in that picture. Kinda looks like she always has dirt on her muzzle.

If she does good and fits your bill, I'd just call her a cur dog. But if I had to guess I'd say she may have a little lacy in her but mostly cur dog.

I've got a coal black cur dog that's mother and grandmother were blue as a pair of new wranglers and throws blue and jet black pups, I don't know the breed standard for lady's, is black an excepted trait...

Yessir real similar, even down to the legs and mouth being kinda brownish. Ears aren't as long and head is a little narrower than the one you posted but real similar.
