A couple buddies came over and helped whip out about 80% of my new brood kennel and brood box. Wanted to build it right this time. 4x4 box with side access door and 5x8 wood deck kennel. Still need to put my puppy rails in the box and doors on, but I like it. Should do well. Let's see yalls brood kennels and boxes

I like it....  Mine is just a 4x4 box inside a old goat shed set on concrete. 28" tall with a square cut door opening in front. No side door, but I really like the side door thinking.  I had a 6" lip on the bottom of  the door to hold the pups in. I ended up putting a ramp on the outside because when the pups got to 4 weeks old they began to climb out. The ramp just made it easier for them to go back in box.  I used a regular heat lamp with a 60 watt light bulb and it made it plenty warm. I also just hung a little fabric over the door to help hold in the heat.

again good job. Looks great.

Great job...but 1 thing get rid of the deep water bucket. A shallow one about 2" won't drown the pups. I use the feed pans from wally world. Come out 2 days in row with drowned pups in the water bucket.

Deep bucket is for her for temporary use. About to throw her in there. She is about 3 weeks out... I appreciate the tip tho.

Also, I have a 6" rip to drop in the door once she goes into labor

Nothing fancy at all about this one, it's an old creep feeder sat on 4 wood post in each corner, it has a square hole cut out on both side, that thing has raised, I wouldn't be scared to say well over a hundred pups over the years and still is, the top comes off giving you access to it, I've had way nicer set ups but this is something my father in law built years ago and it's just to practical not to use...
