Yesterday I lost a special Dog that taught me as much as he taught a lot of Young dogs.He was 14 years old and a hell of a hog dog in his day!! One hunt I will never forget a guy went hunting with us turned a few dogs out. About that time a dog struck and the guy was quick to call his dog striking ahead of ole Jeff a few min later I looked and Jeff trotted up sat down and blew through his mouth as a sign of discussed and I told the ole boy you better shock or catch those dogs there not running a hog Lol!! Just one of many stories I can tell about this ole dog. He had a personality!! He was a fine hound and I will never forget Him!! IMG_1844.JPG

Sorry for your loss Ed... 14 years is long time to be a hog dog. He lived a full life for sure.

Dang Bubba that sucks. But at the end of it he gave you 14 yr of good times and memory's you won't ever forget. Most folks don't even hunt that long solid and you had a dog that took it to the end man I bet he was a good ol boy.

He was a good one!! Many memories and good hunts. He could pull a rabbit out of a hat when you didn't think there was anything around. Lol!!
