Me and rhett went out with ropes in hand looking for a little bay pen hog we was gonna rope or catch bare handed. Cleared the tank dam and decided we wasn't trying to wrestle no big boar hog. Instead we danced with him. Click on link for video! https://www.facebook.com/CBM22218/posts/10209877753967913

Great video.... lol
Not ideally how baying and shooting goes. This is first time I've ever had to fire more than once. I fired 6 times and hit the hog 6 times. 5 hit him in his wheelhouse and 1 in the jaw. He was soaking them up. Made for cool video

Did your bullets pass thru his shield? I shot one 3 times and he just shook his head haha.

The first shot and 3rd shot I don't believe passed through his shield. The 2nd shot in pretty sure he felt. He looked like he was gonna go down for a second. 4th shot as he run right by us I misplaced and hit him forward in the jaw rather than the ear like I was looking for. 5th shot was on the money and got  through the shield and 6th shot as he right back by us did the trick I guess. First time that's ever happened. Idk if the video shows it but I put another in him after he falls just to be sure. I was pretty jacked up and was screaming at my pup to get out of the way.

Thank you. They are young and dumb. But they're learning and doing well at getting hogs that try to run bayed. They get brave in open pasture and in the water. Before video started my yella gyp sloan(not the pup that runs back to us after I first shoot) was damn near standing on this hogs back in the water barking and biting him on the ear. But don't matter where they are or how big he is. They hear that gun go off they are jumping on him as you can see in the video. That little brindle pup of mine sketch if you watch hits that hog in the nuts every time he turns away from her and she is what got him spun around after he charged us the first time and got him to make that 2nd pass where I made the last shot. She is 15 months old and can flat move a track and really get behind one and stay there.

Honestly no. Really wasn't any time to worry about being scared. Only thought across my mind was get this hog killed quick or someone or something is gonna get bad hurt. Only option was to stand in there and burn him down. We were all jacked up on Adrenaline afterwards though. There were a few expletives hollered from each of us lol
