Driving home late this morning and was coming past one of our lease places. Seen 3 hogs run across the road in front of me into the place and figured I'd see if we could get them killed. Went and collared up sketch and Sloan and kicked them in. They cut the track off the county road and were bayed in less then 5 minutes. They bayed for all of 20 seconds and I guess felt a little big and bad cause they got hooked up on a big fat heavy bred sow. She had some decent little teeth on her and chewed Sloan up a little bit but no worse for wear we got her killed and they rolled out. Sloan cut back behind me towards the thickest part of the place and sketch rolled down into the dry creek bed and was moving good. Sketch got to 400 made a big loop, come up out the creek bed and bayed at 370. Sloan got around to her and I eased that way. Stood there for a while and watched them work another big bred sow and a little boar pig. Talked them back and shot the little boar. The big sow tried to run and ole sketch wasn't having that. Was hung all over her back end. Sheand bayed back within 50 yards and I walked to them and put her down. These 2 gyps ain't anything special, still young with lots too learn but they're getting to be pretty hog savvy and are doing real well at making hogs bay. Good morning 3 down in maybe all of 15-20 minutes

caught 2 more sows yesterday morning with a buddy Josh. First time we've gotten together in a few months since we last hunted the trinity river. This red one was the first and had a few pounds on the 2nd. Dogs worked pretty good. Came real close to catching a big hog that's been giving me and my 2 young gyps fits but he broke just before bulldog got there. Can't catch them all I guess. Had fun and sketch and Sloan continue to impress me
