My trashy Plott dogs treed a couple lions last week. This was something I've wanted to do for 20+ years. Had a slow week at work so I just got in the truck and went. Lion hunting is way more work than I expected and not nearly as many lion out there as folks on Facebook make it seem. All in all it was a great week and real proud of my dogs.

I was following your trip on FB & the dogs did a heck of a job. Beautiful country out there. Did you know someone out there or just went to a certain area. Either way it was a super nice job.

Cajun, I went out solo. Rented a cabin from a retired outfitter. Guess he felt sorry for me that I had nobody to hunt with and hunted with me all but one of the days. I bear hunted this area 2 years ago and had seen some lion tracks. Seemed like as good a place as any to try.
