Got a call Friday evening from a man who's boss had 3 hogs stuck in a netwire pasture for the last month. Trapping efforts have failed and they're tired of them rooting everywhere. Asked if I thought I could come help and I of course said I sure could. His kids had basketball this morning so we didn't get to turn out till a little after 12 noon and just like I figured dogs hunted really good right out the box. No secret the hogs were there I knew it and so did they but they just couldn't get the hogs jumped. After about an hour or so loco and Bradley built got them jumped and after a little short sprint they stretched out the boar of the group. The group of about 10 people standing at the gate (landowners his son in law, neighbors and what ever else lol) watched one of the other hogs come out and go back into the woods and one of them cleared a 8 ft cattle guard to escape. I tied the boar, kicked dogs back out and sketch trailed the sow they had seen and I shot her. Then I put loco and sketch out across the fence to see if they could come up with our escapee but due to not having permission from neighbors yet, I wasn't able to let them take the track where they wanted. All in all it was good dog work, land owner was really happy and I feel like I got to show a good handful of people who had no clue about what we do, what the right way of doing it looks like and some well trained and taken care of dogs. They all thought it was the coolest thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is the hope. I'm definitely trying to push for some new country here lately. After hunting most all the same places for last few years hogs are hit and miss. Need some fresh places to make some pups

That's when that tone training will come in handy.

My 2 are tone trained. My buddies to my knowledge are not. We're gonna do our best to hunt from the interstate north. But as we all know a hog is gonna do what he wants too
