Between being blessed with a good bit of work on the book and turkey season hunting has had to sit idle for a few weeks but the young bucks have been ripping and running and wearing them out...
They jumped this one and ran him for a while and they got off on some pigs and sows, they got the dogs caught out of them and Jace was walking down the road and saw where he crossed out of the block about 1/4 mike down the road and put back on him and had him bayed half an hour later, he did a number on the dogs...

Jace holding Coal on the left and Trace holding June on the right, they got rained out and made a loop behind the house and was able to snag one...
Two more from around the house... The first four dogs from right to left are all close kin, the first two are mother and daughter and are 2nd and 3rd cousins to the Jace is holding, the 3rd and 4th from the right, the two Jace is holding are half sisters and an aunt and niece as well that I bred up, if the good lord is willing and the creek don’t rise I’m going to try and line this blood out and keep it going...

Yeah goose, those boys wearing them out. I've been keeping up with them on FB. Do any of those dogs go back to Robert L. Hobgoods cur dogs?

All of them do, that mason Blood he brought in this area crossed over the old dossett dogs that were from around the picayune Poplarville area are the foundation of all of the cur blood that I’ve been messing with for a while...
