Was sitting out back by the fire and working on transplanting some cuttings and waiting for it to get a little darker to go shine some rabbits and put some of my pups on them when I noticed my son Talon had gotten quiet and I looked at my feet and the two pups weren’t under my chair, looked around the other side of the fire pit and this is the sight that greeted me, I thank God frequently that he blessed me with an extremely outdoors loving son who loves hunting with and handling dogs almost as much as myself, he’s all boy and is a live wire from sun up to sun down and is making a good hand in the woods with me and around the chute and on a horse with his papa...

You guys are sure right. My oldest boy probably saved my life the moment he entered it. He is one of my best friends. I'm a father first but the older he gets the closer the gap between fafher and friend gets. My youngest was more blessing than I deserve. I knew the good lord loved me when he allowed me to be father of these two. As stated already, you are blessed, cherish every minute because we aren't guaranteed a next breath and he will be grown soon.
