After a miserable day yesterday with rain and high winds... today was 100% better. Left home to a cool 39 degrees and Robert, Chris and Kai met me out on the prairie. Robert’s Spook dog and my Mima gyp winded a group of hogs that were bedded from 800 yards and we ended up catching a few out of it.

Yall sure been getting after them. Do yall have a Turkey season there? Here in most places Turkey season shuts us down, unless it is cool enough to go to the marsh.

Thanks fellas. Cajun, there’s a spring turkey season in certain counties in Texas... luckily there’s no turkey around here.

That’s a pup out of my Jase dog bred back to his aunt Molly which belongs to Jameson Peschel up in Oklahoma. Same cross as my Catfish and Daisy dogs a year later.
