Just curious if anyone is having actual luck with buying comfortis overseas without prescription. My pens are on dirt and my vet recently retired and would let me buy comfortis without a visit every year. Figure it's worth a shot. I have tried multiple other methods but nothing works as good as the comfortis, I usually buy the largest pill and split them in half and they work for 6-8 weeks.

Goose turned me on to this. Conserve, same base ingredient as Comforts, Spinaside. I have not had a flea on my place in 2 1/2 years. It's organic and you can give orally.

Sssshhhh Cajun... don’t tell everybody!!! Haha... we’ve been using it for several years now also... works great. We figured if the word got out they would add something to it like Bayer did.

I give 1cc per 10lbs orally during feeding time. Make sure and give it with feed or they’ll throw it up just like Comfortis.

It was 120-150 dollars. Not sure but give it once a month.

Do you give it right out the bottle without dilution at 1cc per 10 lbs?

I've been using Nexguard pills. you can get them off bestvaluepetsupplies.com. 6 pack of pills is $81.(I cut them in 1/2) Treats fleas ticks heartworm and some other worms. Still pretty expensive though, if you keep a lot of dogs.

First bottle I ordered lasted me a year and half, and that was treating 40 head between me and my father in law in addition to doing my parents and neighbors dogs a few times, after a few applications I cut my dosage in half, now I’ll go 3 or 4 months without giving it to my dogs and give them some as needed once there is no longer an established flea population...

I found the conserve spinosad 11.6% 32 ounce bottle for $150 (domyown.com), the same bottle in the picture. Dosage is 1cc per 10 pounds. Just want to verify prior my order, but this is awesome and you guys have no idea how much this will help/save me! Thank you!

Thanks, any suggestions on where to buy conserve?

Google search Conserve SC and it will give you list of retailers, you can search around and find it different prices, depends on where you buy, I’ve used it for 5 years and haven’t had a flea or tapeworm issue ever since, I’ve tried different brands that use Spinosad but in weaker formula and none of them were even in comparison with the Conserve SC, it smells strong but is organic, I’ve never seen any adverse reactions other than what mike said about the throwing it back up if given on an empty stomache, I’ve given it to pregnant females and females nursing pups and never had any issues the pups got it through the milk I guess because the next morning there wasn’t a flea in existence on them or the female, I’ve put infested dogs in a kennel after application and came back 3 hours later and the bottom was full of dead fleas, definitely some great stuff one application pays for the entire bottle after I put pen to paper and figured up what the cost of comfortis was for me and what it cost me in sprays, granules, powders, dips and time treating them like I was, I to am curious to know what they may add to it to curtail dog owners from using it like the Bayer Company did, two things in our favor right now are the price and and the fact that’s it’s manufactured for organic farming, sharing information such as this is great for private forums like this, but let’s keep in mind what the Bayer Company did when word got out about their tree and shrub product containing the same active ingredient as a commonly sold and highly marked up flea preventive product, this product saves the dog man a good bit of money not to mention the benefits and and well being it brings to our dogs, what one man does is his business, but it would benefit us greatly if we refrain from blasting this all over public social media such as Facebook, word travels at the speed of light this day and time and these manufacturing companies are all about profit and will do what they can to maintain their grip on our lives, there’s absolutely nothing negative about sharing this type of information with in the dog world but the mistakes we’ve made before need to be always kept in mind when we pass this kind of information on to the next man, Cajun in no way is this a rub against you or finger pointed in your direction for sharing it here or anything along those lines, this is great information to be shared on closed and screened forums such as this...

Yes 1cc per ten pounds and depending on situation and you may be able to cut your dosage in half after several months of being on it, it worked for me and now i just treat them if I see one scratching or see any fleas when I’m petting them at feeding or handling them...

You ran across a deal then, cheapest I’ve seen it on there when I’ve reordered was around 130$ w/ shipping. Did you buy the Dow AgroSciences brand?

I currently use liquid Ivomec and either safeguard or strongid wormer each month. Would the conserve take the place of the safeguard/strongid?
