When you say hard nose dogs, are you talking about where they catch and hold?
No not at all TheRednose, They just hard running catch dogs who will wind scent and trail ground sent. Medium range, any more than that would be an issue to back up these dogs in the terrain we hunt.

Thanks for the explanation I thought hard nose dog might have meant where on the hog the dog will hold the pig when caught.

You have some really nice dogs, and based on those pics seems like they are really getting the job done for you. You take care.
He did say "one out dog" meaning a dog will track, chase down and hold, its own pig. Or picking the mob will mean each will pick its own pig if more than one and usually they will go for the biggest ones.
