Weekend hunts...

Finally caught a good boar that we’ve ran several times this summer. He almost killed my Jase dog a while back in a saw grass swamp. He’d always pulled ahead of the dogs and head to some flooded country where 3 old rice canals come together and just vanish. They’d stay in there circling and looking, but could never move past it. Well, yesterday morning they had his number. Same ol thing, he headed right to that spot... but them dogs had a fire burning under his ass haha. They all flew through there and never slowed down. It was about a 2 mile hard race and he bayed... I was glad to finally get him. The funny thing about it is my Jase dog led the race the whole way and bayed... like he remembered that was the hog that almost killed him. He hasn’t been a 100% since, usually falls behind in long races and doesn’t have the wind and stamina he had before.







Then today... back on sows and pigs haha!

Good deal mike. Real nice boar, that’s got to be an awesome feeling catching a hog you you have a history with. Iv had many hogs really whoop on some dogs and we’ve always either caught them right then. Or we ran him multiple times and never managed to get him killed, theres one hog still out and about with a price on his head for 2 good bay dogs and a bulldog
