I run hairy holder chest plate have had a problem with heat but I had it on a Dane. Buddy runs them on his pit cross n she does fine with a plate also. The dogs I am talking about aren’t lead in they hunt out.

Cajun I got that same vest actually two of them they are a very good vest. Two things I don’t like bout them they seem to suck up more water in the inter layer then other vests do and the led holes seem a tad small or oddly shaped. But over all a very good vest

Already bought the texas boar bib, but removed all trauma plates, d ring, only using two layer condura and with one layer kevlar in between. If I run into the same issues with rubbing I will send back to wild boar to modify it. I have got in touch with a person in australia also. They use fire hose and seat belt material. I've even consider making my own but we'll see where this process takes me.

I run the hardcore ss short suit on mine right now and have had good luck with it. It weighs practically nothing and they did well through the summer with it.

aussie style brest plates are hard to beat for protection vs heat ... but that said loose dogs are the best
