3/4 American bulldog 1/4 pit he is about 5 months old now we will see how he turns out his daddy is good catch dog he is American bulldog we have his grandma she is pit good catch dog both started early and easy mom is 1/2 pit 1/2 American bulldog started catching young so should have it in him we will find out

I’m am very close to doing a 50/50 cross
But I am a Pitt guy through and through I just have a AB that is nice and like her traits .

Thank y'all muddy all I have ever been around and hunted with is pits until my buddy got that American bulldog I am still a pit guy if I had to choose just trying a little something different

of course it depends on the dogs and some luck but I like the cross. Been doing them for 10 years or so. First gen were truly amazing athletes, second gen lost some. third gen r getting close as far as athletic ability and better temperaments. I have seen it go wrong tho too.

What are you looking for in the cross ...bigger dogs ,  mellow . Just wondering I have a bunch of pit mixed dogs been thinking about adding some size. My biggest dog is about 60#

The American bulldog is pretty mellow that they are out of not really looking for bigger dogs have always had good luck with pits I don't really like real big dogs the American bulldog they are out of is little to big for me buddy ended up with that American bulldog he is smart lots of run and good wind he liked him so he crossed him on smaller pit and they worked out just trying something little different than what I am use to I still like full pits and probably always will be my favorites
