Me and the boys decided we would make a round for my 21st last night. Had hell getting around some hog in brush country so we hit the crop land with the thermal around 2am. Finally spotted some pigs and sent dogs to em. They lined out the big boar. He dropped off in a nasty slough and they had him sitting tight. Sent a 11 month old pup to his first bay and smacked him and the fight was on. I blew in there and put myself in a bad spot with that hog, luckily Jacob got in there quick behind me and bailed me out of the bind I was in. Got him killed and called it a night. Them hogs down there on that brazos are a different breed! Glad we could get it done and wouldn’t want to have done it with any other group of guys

Thanks guys. I’d much rather be sitting on a tailgate drinking a cold one waiting on a dog to bark than anything else. He was a sure enough good hog.
