Danny, Chris and Heather met me yesterday morning for a hunt. We hunted all morning and didn’t even get a wiggle. Chris and Heather had to leave, but me and Danny weren’t getting skunked. About 1:00 we found a trail leading into a block of brush/woods and sent a few dogs down it. A few minutes later Danny’s two bayed. We thought it was a big boar hog the way she sounded when the bulldogs hit. She was probably the biggest sow I’ve caught out there on this place. Dogs were done after that, the heat index was 99 degrees... so much for our cool, fall weather.
