Does anyone train or deal with cattle dogs on her if so could I get some tips on training just got a new bmc and blue lacy pup and decided I try to gamble and make him a cattle dog.

 just be sure they know what  '' get out '' means before you git to the pasture . me and my old jack dawg made a lot of  '' knew gates '' before we both figured that out  lol

That BMC/Lacy cross should end up being a bay/push dog, teach him a a good recall, directions for pushing, and you’ll be fine. They don’t have to be as refined as a true cow dog. You’ll need another one or 2 to fully get him to shine though.
