G'day Black Streak,
What is the country like you are hunting, it looks flat and some what open paddocks and crop country.
Do these dogs wind sent from a vehicle or are you walking and your casting them out ?
Will these dogs naturally run on when a mob has been hit or do you cast them out again.
I enjoy the pics mate.

Cheers
Dom

They naturally run on and keep picking from the mob.    Terrain is very divers with exception of mountains.  The dogs hunt every way you mentioned.      I typically drop them on the ground and drive or walk hunt.   Depends on where I'm at and what the terrain is like,  if I'm stabbing or tying, and how wet or dry the ground is.   I hunt by myself vast majority of the time and like to walk.   If I have a deer hunter or land owner with me, I almost always drive an atv so they may ride and enjoy the hunt and drink their beer if hunting the woods.     I also cast hunt the dogs a lot  especially if a hunter or land owner is with me.    Crop hunting is easy with these dogs.  They cast well and the catches make for easy retrievals.    I love taking landowners crop hunting.     They hate pigs in their fields and the dogs cast well and catch the pigs in the fields.    Landowners like short and sweet and easy retrieval.    Easy auditions, look like a rock star especially if the land owners has ever went with bay doggers, land owners has a blast and just helps me load pigs in truck or trailer and says all my stuff is yours.  Just fly under the radar durring deer season if you would.      So I crop hunt a lot at night on different ranches during deer season same way i normally audition but after deer season I do as much woods hunting as I do crop hunting.
