Having a good dog and not breeding them enough, and not placing them in homes that would let you get a pup back. My best plotts were taken from my yard when I was with my grandma doing chemo, only two people have offered to help regain that blood, one gave me the pup I sold him back the other is waiting to breed his when a female comes in.

Easy Question for me.

1) not breeding my old smoke and camo dogs more than 1 time each when I had the opportunity, would have made life alot easier now but im getting by
2) Not keeping more of the puppies out of the litters I did make with those 2 dogs
3) giving away 3 pups in particular (2 currs and 1 bulldog) to two different people who I thought were friends only to be F*#&$% by them down the line...... I regret it but it was a valuable lesson learned.

My biggest regret was running over the best dog I ever owned. It’s not something that I did on purpose obviously but it’s something I regret daily. I get sick thinking about it. She was only 2.5 but I’d put her up against anything. She had the type of hunt and go you dream about. I cried like a baby for 2 days

I had a male dog named Cobb that was as good as I’ve been to the woods with. I got him from buddies dogs off Casey, Big E’s, and Tshelly’s dogs. He was specifically off that old Boogie dog that was so high powered. I never bred him cuz I didnt have a gyp and hadn’t been to the woods with one I liked. I could have bred him but I didn’t want that blood next door and having to compete with em for hogs and barrs. Looking back, it was stupid. He may not have produced a lick, but I wouldn’t have these regrets thinking of what could have been. I been after one like him ever since. His collar hangs on my porch and reminds me what a good dog is all about.

I miss ol Cobb! He was a hog finding sucker. Libbie his litter mate just died on Saturday. Nick has got her cut down real bad last summer, she got her wind pipe and jugular cut and gutted. They got her all put back together but she was never right. We hunted her once this year and she passed about a week later.
