Slim I have seen a few fellas think like that before then wonder why there dog got its throat pricked and bleed out thinking he was going to a bayed hog. Seen guys dogs get gutted that wasn’t rough. That’s not a smart rule to follow. If you know your dogs then you can make judgement calls best suited for that dog but if I got a bay dog that gets testy from time to time I will vest them up. A lot of this sport is common sense and learned experiences don’t have to be a lifer to know stuff but at the same time you got to use good judgment. Every hunt and hunter is different

3 main leading causes to a “bay”(I use this term loosely, it seems to almost be a lost art in “hog dogs”) dog getting cut in my opinion. 1. Too many dogs, 6 dogs are going to egg each other on and then get in each others way when that hog makes his move 2. “Bay” dogs that don’t really bay, they bark and try to make a hog fight, nipping, pressuring a hog that is more than willing to stand bayed 3. Bad bulldogs, or ignorant people using good ones the wrong way... I make sure to avoid all 3 of those scenarios. Haven’t had a dog cut since I started thinking that way.

I hog hunt with cur dogs. I don't feed separate dogs to "bay" and "catch". I feed "hog" dogs that are expected to do both. I run a collar on my dogs. Vest's are just not practical. Cow and hog hunting is rough on dogs where I come from. Injury and death are real deal job hazards, every time I send them. It is what they are bred and live for. If they ain't getting cut or banged up from time to time, they ain't doing the job I hired them on for Wink To each their own

No doubt. A million ways to skin a cat, you can do it with a butter knife if you want. But that don’t make it a good idea lol

Hard hunting dogs can die from heat exhaustion without vests and while wearing vests...rough strike dogs live longer wearing running vests...very true what the old man says...hogs will cull the rough dogs and we cull the dogs that iare too frightened to bay as needed...

Dogs that stand back 20 feet to keep a hog bayed who is waiting on the catch dog are very effective but not for me...I like dogs that will bring hogs to bay by being extra rough...in thick country it makes for long races...but it is very satisfying when the hog is eventually stopped...in open country the same hog can’t run far...

I choose to run bay vests on the rougher dogs...they usually don’t fall behind and do just fine with them...

I will never understand why people always try to please the tree hungers. They don’t give a .. if your dog has a vest on it or not they want you to stop have hog dogs and stop hunting PERIOD. Guys in Australia don’t vest a dog till they earn one and they are starting and hunting dogs at 6 months old. I don’t get it people are to dam quick to give in how about this. I live in America land of the FREE and I’ll hunt and run my dogs the way that I want and if that didn’t please people then don’t look at my pictures. I don’t give a crap what the greenies think. You want an example of how unhinge the tree hungers are? Had two of my dogs on the back of my truck some one took a picture online then looked up my home address with my license plate and posted it on a Public form. After thousands of views I had people calling the cops to come to my house and take away my dogs for animal endangering and trying to get my the cops to inspect my home to see if I have kids because of I treat dogs that way they could only imagine how I would trade my kids. All this for legally growing my dogs on a truck bed and taking them for a ride.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. But to answer your question I best my dog when they fit a vest and when they are already catching in the woods we don’t have training pens.

I was going quit and leave this alone, but hyan, that's  exactly the attitude we don't need. Not posting pics of a cut or dead dogs isn't to please the do gooders. It's to protect our sport. It's to not give the enemy ammunition. What's most harmful, a dog in a picture that's healthy, or dog that's bleeding or dead? That's a common sense type thing. I assume since your so stirred about this that you love hog hunting and your dogs. Why wouldn't you want to do whatever it took to protect it or better yet why would you do something like posting pics that could do damage? Because your FREE and you can and you ain't gonna kiss anybody's butt? Come on man that is ridiculous! I'm not a butt kisser either and those people you speak of are extremists. Idiots about things that they are completely ignorant about. A majority of those people have never been out of the city limits. They grew up thinking Donald, Goofy, and Bambi all really walk, talk, and think like we do. They think the steak on their plate was made in a factory. I don't for a minute blame you for being pissed about what happened to you. True we live in a "FREE" country, but there are flaws. We are pretty much a country divided on any and every subject imaginable. A HUGE problem is that ours laws leave room for interpretation. One judge reads it this way the next reads it another. Both of them enforce it according to "their" interpretation. This is and will continue to be a war of sorts. As in any war, the side with the most soldiers, the best strategy, and the most ammunition WINS. When we  post pics like we are speaking of, those people that see them that are straddling the fence or haven't decided how they feel about it, are probably going to become soldiers for the other side and we've given them ammunition. If they see positive pics of healthy animals then it's a lot harder for them to make the cruelty determination. As for the Aussies, they have to fight their own battles. They too will have to deal with these issues, be it now or later. We gotta be leaders not followers. And the situation you had happen, take some satisfaction that nothing came of it because you do take care of your animals. To me that's a small battle won for the good guys. If we continue to do stupid stuff, we'll be FREE and without the right to hunt our dogs.

I am not talking about cut n dead dogs that’s just stupid i agree with u on that. I am talking about vested dogs what if I cant afford a $150 vest should I just not be hunting? What if I just belong believe in running a dog in a vest?should I not be able to post pics? What about bay dogs catching a hog they don’t have vest? The problem is they don’t need ammunition they see a dog with a tracking collar and say well it’s inhuman because it can shock a dog. so should we not post pics of dogs with tracking collars on? Our dogs are lean because they run so much should we stop posting pics of them because tree hungers think they are to skinny? What about pics of dogs in the box during the summer because they think it’s to hot for dogs? Hell we had one lady pick our dog up by the road and put it in her car “because they looked hot” in the summer another lady picked up one dog and drove away with her we tracked them down with the collar and got the dog back but the collar wasn’t on her it was in the bushes because they took it off and threw it they said we shouldn’t be shocking our dogs. I had one lady walk up to my truck while I was loading horse feed and start pouring dog treats on my bed and said my dog is starving because he ate the treats. My question is what can we post pics of? They see a dead hog and trow a fit. That’s ammunition for them right there. so should we stop posting pics of dead hogs? How about dead deer? Should we stop posting videos of our catch’s dogs on hog because the hog is screaming? Or should we stop posting a pic of any dogs because some tree hungers say using dogs to hunt game is unfair and cheating. The point I am making is they already hate you and me because we hunt they don’t need anymore ammunition because anything we post could be used as ammo. Also I am not heated or up set at all and I am not trying to be disrespectful I understand we have the same view to pass this number 2 on to our kids.

Not giving anti's ammo is not to please the anti's, your right Hyan they will never be happy, it's for the normal people in the middle who we will need their vote and their support more and more as the anti's attack. When I am talking about ammo I am mainly talking about cut up or dead dogs but you agree with that but there are a lot of people still posting pic's like that, and that is a problem for all of us IMO.

The antis want no fishing and no hunting and no clearing of land...

This is how I see it...if they don’t agree with it then at is fine...they don’t have to fish or hunt and not cut down trees...that is their business...after all it is a free country...

I choose to hunt and fish and I pay my fees to do so...I believe in take some and leave some...if the deer population gets low I will not hunt deer until there is a healthy population...I depend on game biologists to make recommendations which we pay through license fees and various other ways...

We need to add to the bill of rights that hunting and fishing is a right that no one can take away...

What really sucks is that a few can push for and create laws that can prevent others from pursuing their personal happiness by making it illegal so they can have their way...which I think is very wrong...

We need to make a movement in making it a right to hunt and fish for our protection...

If you can't afford the $150 dollar vest what happens when you get your catch dog hurt bad enough that you yourself can't fix it? Do you take it to the vet? You're  gonna spend that $150 walking through the door nearly. Or, do you just put him back in his spot on your yard and hope he gets ok or lives through it? No vest  probably means repetitive trips to the vet. That's more than $150 on numerous occasions. So if you gotta quit dipping, chewing, or drinking for a couple months to save the change for a vest, then that's a small sacrifice. If a person has the hope he gets over it mentality then yeah, they should get rid of their dogs. Bay dog or catch dog makes no difference. If it's cut take care of it, respect your animals. Let those that have the hope it makes it through it mentality start wading in and catching the hog. Post all the pics you want, just don't post injured dogs. Post positives not negatives. A vested dog just shows your attempt at protecting them. The skinny dogs can be disproved and so can the tracking collar issues. Again, another example at your attempt to protect them. A dog box is yet another safety mechanism. How you engage "ignorant" people makes a huge difference. If you start off with attitude then they are automatically close minded. But if thank her for trying to help and explain that the dog is highly trained and acclimated to the heat, she'll be much more receptive. Try to explain what your doing is due to the destruction of the hogs etc. Same with the dummy that took off the collar. Positive attitude and show her the collar is tracking not shocking. Let her hear the tone sound and explain that is how the dogs know to come to you when you are ready for them or to try and keep them from harm. That that is exactly how you knew she had your dog. The person feeding your starving dog, politely explain that the dog is in working condition. Tastefully point out that sumo wrestlers don't run marathons. Point out the muscle that your animal is carrying and that starving animals dont have that. Point out that dogs are animals of opportunity. That mother nature wired them to eat when the opportunity presents itself because in nature there are no guaranteed next meals. If food is made available then they are going to eat. The question about dead hogs and dead deer is easily disputed. The damage created by hogs is substantial and well documented. Not to mention that they, just like the deer, a source of food. I've also presented the question, and changed the minds of some, of what's more cruel, killing a hog or deer quickly and using them for food or them over populating and dying slow miserable deaths because starvation or disease and even infecting domestic animals with those diseases. Ask the people that "use" to hunt bear in Washington, Oregon, and California what played on TV and  social media over and over when bear hunting was outlawed. It was a pack of hounds that caught a cub on the ground and it squalling. I'm not mad but I'm passionate our sport and I'm not gonna make it easy for the enemy. I have taken the time to show people that don't know about or understand hunting with dogs the things we do to protect our dogs, from cut gear to tracking systems etc. I also try to show them the negative side of hogs. "Pictures" of sows and shoats running off with fawns in their mouth, stories of cut cattle, peoples poodles that went out to use the bathroom and came back in with cuts, etc. I try to send them away seeing what we do in a positive light.

Tdog is exactly right ,the less that is posted being pics or videos is best. Bear hunting in California was great till social media macho guys started posting videos. The video tdog talks about played at hearings in court and on the news. But this topic was about vest and  gladiators have been wearing armor from the beginning of time. Do you need to collar or vest your  game dog in the box against each other ...no but against something like  a  hog I think yes. If you want to hunt your dogs day after day ,you need to protect them as far as when to start dog in a vest , soon as you can . I have vest that are extra small as soon as a pup can keep up they have a vest on.

We need to make a movement in making it a right to hunt and fish for our protection...

Many states already have the right to hunt and fish in the state constitution. I believe Texas is one. North Carolina voted it in last election. It is just on us sportsmen to protect it!

The anti's have already won if you have to do your hunting and catching "in hiding" we as hunters can tip toe around enough for it to be detrimental to our cause, the anti's are infringing on our freedom and rights, suppose we passed laws that all citizens had to hunt and kill game, or that everyone has to eat meat, that would be as fair and just as them passing legislation to stop us hunting. Same way with gun control nuts, the first thing they would do if they or their home was under attack would be call someone with a gun to protect them, what if there was a law everyone had to have a gun and be proficient in its use? The difference that tips the scales is the fact that they present a united front, we just try to stay out of sight and hope we don't lose any more rights.
The majority of our society and culture have became so passive and so submissive that it is completely UnAmerican.

Old Man I agree with most everything you said except for the tip toeing around. It is "my opinion" that pics of injured dogs is detrimental to our sport. It is also "my opinion" that we are crazy to think otherwise. As with anything there are positives and negatives. We don't have to hide the fact that we hunt with dogs. We can post pics all day everyday. But...what purpose does it serve to post pics that are potentially harmful to our sport. Dead hogs are one thing but injury and death to mans best friend is another. Just because we the hunters understand what we are looking at doesn't mean the average joe does. Several years ago I was diagnosed with an extremely rare intestinal disease where the nerves to my stomach and small intestine were dead. After 2 yrs of doctor after doctor, I wound up hospitalized at UTMB in Galveston. My family, my friends, my doctors, and myself all thought I was gonna kick the bucket because of how fast it was spiraling out of control. It is what is supposed to take me out provided I don't get hit by a train or something like that. I wound up with a feeding tube. I wake up and go to bed EVERYDAY  with what can only be compared to as the stomach bug, and those are the good days. When the bacterial overgrowth gets to a certain point, it presents an additional multitude of problems. It alters my life every minute of every day. I could go on about the symptoms for a long time but that isn't my point. My point is I get through life daily because of faith, family, and grit. Anyone that knows me will tell you there is no back up or back down in me. I'm direct and out spoken, maybe too much so sometimes. I'm also a competitor to the core I don't do anything doubting that I'm gonna win or come out on top.  My way of thinking is directly related to the style of catch dog I prefer. A can't be beat mentality that can think on their feet. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. You have to capitalize on their weaknesses to beat them. If they are stronger you be faster. If they are stronger and faster then you be smarter. I choose to beat them by being smarter. A high percentage of the anti's are anti's because of ignorance. Ignorance doesn't mean stupid. It means uninformed. It implies that a person or group needs to be educated about a particular subject. What education most of them have received as been manipulated and ill informed. We as hunters are ignorant in many aspects too. Ignorance is dangerous. There's a book that says "lack of knowledge, stupidity, and deception of yourself and others are all life denying and can destroy happiness and meaning in your life." There's also a saying that knowledge is virtuous, and ignorance is a vise. That no trait can be a virtue if having that trait means being ignorant of certain facts. Let history educate us. Look at the tools and strategies they have used and continue to use and quit feeding those capabilities. Don't tip toe, out smart. Use thought and strategy.

T-dog I agree with all you've said about the antis, as well as Old Man and Hyan, in today's society if your a dog hunter then your evil, worse off than a still hunter that hunts deer because we "force" our dogs to want to kill other animals, your right they have absolutely no clue, I was once stopped on side of the road bc of a wreck, man and his daughter come walking past my truck and she sees my dogs and ask if she can pet my puppy's and I said of course, her dad then asked what kind of dogs they were and when I said hog dogs he moved as fast lighting and snatched her off my bumper and told his daughter them hogdogs would rip her to shreds, I was in my early 20's and couldn't understand why he thought that, I'd been raised around "dangerous" breeds my entire life, and then only incident I ever had was I was attacked by my cousins chow of all things, as I got older and got deeper in this hunting thing it was then I really realized the magnitude of the fight were up against, little by little they are stripping away our rights to hunt with dogs, in my life I've seen the running of fox hounds shut down around here, I'm 31 and can only recall 3 times in my life I've seen my father seriously cry, 2 were the deaths of a close aunt and best friend, the other was the day the gavel was dropped and running fox hounds was shut down in our area, I was a little kid and remember telling myself that I would never sit back and just let them take my hunting away like my father and a lot of other men did, that event was the offset of an entire culture and way of life change in my area, in one generation folks went from being open to dog hunting to anti dog hunting, folks can say what they want but the inventions of name brand camouflage and filming hunts of "trophy" whitetails decimated dog hunting in this entire country, particularly the southeast, they promised that if you planted this food plot mix or used this grunt call or this pattern camo, you were guaranteed to kill grow and kill the buck of a lifetime, and if you didn't the first thing that the finger was pointed at was the dog hunting, they needed something to put the blame on when Johnny Paycheck weekend hunter has done poured half of his salary into buying their products but can't figure out why he ain't growing and killing bucks in his hunting lease, everyone would be SHOCKED if they really looked into these outdoors and hunting companies and see just how many funded anti dog hunting legislation and lobbying, bullet manufacturers as well, I'm not sure if they still are but at one time Nosler ammunition company was one of the main contributors to anti dog hunting laws being created across the country, most don't even know it but they are supporting the anti movement themselves, when I was teenager my parents had to go to court with an owner of a local catch pen, some animal rights group had infiltrated their way into the catch and was filming the catch, I was underage and was working the pen along with several other teens, the antis lost that battle in the account they didn't have permission to film underage minors without the parent consent, come to find out two other pen owners who were there to "help" Frankie run his show were the ones who let them in and orchestrated the entire thing on the account that he had the rankest hogs and ran the most honest show and drew a huge crowd and they were trying to run their catches on more than one weekend out the month, they eventually all got shut down and that event it was set it all off, again the actual enemy was within, several years ago here in LA we lost the right to hog hunt on several WMA in the Ms river valley on the account of black bear/hog dog interactions, they (the state) were having a high cub mortality rate and didn't want to admit that they were the reason but instead blamed in on the hog dogs, I know the facts about this because I fought it tooth and nail, there isn't one single case in the state of LA since the whole black bear program started of a bear being killed or maimed by a hog dog, there's way more killed by deer hunters every year and by cars and all this evidence we gathered came directly from the states own research, Cajun even came and spoke on our behalf and straight up informed them that they the researches were the problem by going to these nest and running the mothers off to "inspect" the baby's, so the Louisiana hog hunters association was formed and we were able to get a feral hog management advisory task force and I was elected to it by the states wildlife and fisheries secretary, and was eventually the vice chairman of the task force, I was there on behalf of the hunters and to propose hunter specific solutions, I went in with my guns loaded and had my stuff cheater pipe tight, EVERY SINGLE proposal I presented I had done predicted what their counter arguments would be and already had my rhetoric for them, the state of La head veterinarian, was sitting next to me, our states head biologist was sitting directly I front of me along with our states large carnivore director, again EVERY SINGLE proposal i brought to the table I knew there was absolutely no way they couldn't disagree with me, they were all dumbfounded this redneck 28 year old from the village of Angie La was grilling them, Marie Davidson the carnivore director already knew me so she sat there with her arms crossed not saying a word while her co worker couldn't even get a single sentence out without saying "umm ummm um" more times than Obama and was stuttering like a nervous child, again EVERY SINGLE proposal I put on the table THEY AGREED with every single one, but, and I kid you not, looked me right in my eyes and said he cannot back any form of dog hunting, the other members of the task force, who represented the QDMA, the levee board, La land bank, La Farm Bureau, La Dept of Ag and forestry, and several other organizations and every single one of them had my back and said I covered every detail to the finest detail and they didn't have any questions and were in support of my proposals BUT because our states wildlife biologist said he just couldn't agree or back any form of dog hunting then none of it got passed, their minds were made up before any of these meetings ever took place, before the task force was ever formed,  the task force was created to silence and satisfy the dog hunters, we even had the leg work kicked off for the state to begin a study on the impact big game dogs (deer hogs, cat, and yotes) had on local wildlife, I proposed this after they slipped up and told me the state had done its own study in how small game hunting with dogs impacted local wildlife and the results were there was minimal if any impact or disturbance on local non target wildlife, do you know the snakes they are purposely withheld all the study info and results from the small game study from me, so that's when I proposed the big game study, at the time all this was taking place a guy who lives not far from me on the Ms/La line was trapping hogs on their property which just so happens to be part in LA and part in Ms, no roadways or anything just the invisible state line, any how he had been trapping hogs on his property an selling them, nothing wrong with that, but because he was catching them on the MS side of his property and haulin them in a trailer to his pen on the LA side of his property the LDWF had a sting operation set up a busted him and his entire family and arrested them for transporting feral hogs over the state line, during one of the task force meetings this was brought up and they tried to use this as an example as to why we should ban live transport, I stood up and stated I would like to interject that I knew this case personally and told them every detail about it and how the state wants to point the finger at the hog dog hunter as the reason for the "problem" they claim we have,  I told them that we do have some bad apples in the bunch but my father had also raised me not to trust any law enforcement, politician, or state official that they were all corrupt snakes I the grass and then asked them if that were the case, and everyone of them all disagrees with me, I sat down and said I rest my case, the La Dept of Ag and forestry is wanting to commercialize the wild hog much like Texas has, by opening buying stations and eventually getting wild hog meat into commerce such as grocery stores, I thought this was a grand idea but in the very next meeting they send a guy to do a presentation on the warfarin based poison they were pushing at the time, at the end of his presentation I asked him if they were trying to commercialize the meat or poison them because they contradicted one another and the poison literally regulated itself out of use, the stipulations on its use not even legally feasible and they did absolutely zero environmental studies, they just bridged the information they had about warfarin from when it was first commercialized as a rodenticide, i stepped down from my position on the task force once I realized what was really going on, when I walked out of my last meetings several of the members I had become friends with admitted to me that I had changed their minds about dog hunting and that missed my calling in life, instead of working with cattle and being in construction I should've went to law school because I would've made one heck of lawyer lol, looking back now I should've stayed the course but I was in a bad place mentally in my life and dang didn't need the added stress this was physically taking on me, if I'm in involved with something I feel strongly about I pour my heart into it and towards the end of my time on the board I realized my effort and focus needed to be on getting my life back together and focusing all that energy on being a better me, I agree with you when you say we need to police ourselves about what we post on social media, but there's always going to be those little daddy didn't marry mommys, who could careless if they lose the right to hunt or get into legal trouble and are going to keep doing just to spite other hunters such as us who are on the front fighting to maintain our rights and liberties, there's always going to be instances of hunter harassment such as Hyan described, dog hunters as whole are losing ground every year and a lot of the ones pushing for our way of life to cease are not even fur moms but is coming from within our own hunting industry, I urge everyone of you to look into where these big outdoor company's send their funding and support before you spend your money with them and are actually supporting the cause against yourself, learn what you can about local and state officials running for public office, if they claim to be pro 2nd amendment dig a little deeper and find out their stance on hunting any form of game with dogs and we must continue to police within our own community...

Not sure if any of you have heard about it or not but go google "Fla black bear cruelty case", and see the repercussions of what posting on social media can do, these guys are looking at serious prison time and major fines and when they do get all this behind them they are going to be black balled from the hounding community for bringing this fire down upon the entire state of Florida dog hunters...

Great post Tdog...to put it simply...knowledge is power...

I totally agree with being more powerful and/or smarter...

There are many strategies in winning the game...

The biggest thing we as hunters and doggers are up against is human overpopulation...as it grows more land is cleared to make room for housing developments, for more roads and Walmart’s...etc...etc

And because of this it is harder to run dogs...and I said it many years ago...out of necessity the type of dogs to run one day will be the type that black streak hunts...

Housing developers love clearing forrest’s and building on river bottom and creek bottoms because it is the most beautiful land and they get the most profit per square ft because of it...we are destroying wildlife habitat in the name of progress...and everything is about supply and demand...as the hunting lands dwindle and development expands the hunting lease prices will go up...as the ranches are sold or devided the long range dogs will not be feasible to use...that equals to less hunters and less voters in our favor...

More on supply and demand...less hunting land means less people hunting for two reasons...higher prices and less opportunity...so we slowly lose ground to the antis and maybe to those that are neutral that can vote either way...so if we post pictures we need to be careful in what we post...

The potential is there for those that don’t hunt to side up indefinitely with the antis just on account they haven’t experienced what we have as hunters and doggers...it is not something that is getting better and in our favor...so we all must do what we can in protecting what we have...we must be the advocates for freedom...protect the bill of rights (second amendment) and support the NRA amongst other pro hunt and pro dog organizations...

2000 years ago the world population was 1 billion...it took 1,850 years for it to double to 2 billion...and in less than 200 years we will be right at 8 billion...so by 2050 we have the potential to be at 16 billion...people for hundreds or even thousands of years speak about the end of times...I say we are knocking on that door now...

I say technology has enabled us to grow exponentially in the last 150 years but it is a double edged sword...on one side we can grow more food and have all the comforts the younger generations only know...

But these incredible technologies are only postponing what overpopulation is doing to Mother Earth...Technology is being used to manipulate Mother Nature...human reasoning may call it for the good of man...but it is going against the laws of nature...THE FURTHER WE DEVIATE...THE HARDER THE FALL

We are seeing the beginning...greater floods and greater droughts and other things...

When I said knocking on the door...I did not mean the end of the world...it will be the end of the world as we know it...change will come fast...it will be survival of the fittest...probably no rules or regulations for a while...

I am a root cause kind of guy...I used to believe the root cause of these problems were going to be overpopulation...and one day it came to me...the answer was greed...and time go by and the real answer comes to me...it is human nature...we will do the right thing when it is almost too late...it won’t be pretty...

When should a catch dog earn his vest...try him in a controlled situation...a good sized sow or a young boar...if he catches the ear on the first time he earned the right to wear a vest...it doesn’t mean he made the team but he the try out...chances are he’ll make it with the right opportunities...

.the easiest way is to try before you buy (vest) if at all possible...and the other easiest way is to vest him up around the house for a few days...
Once he hunts a few times he will be jumping on that picnic table begging you to vest him up...

Go post Goose...

I have posted before on other forums about all the wildlife that dies on the road by motor vehicles...on any given day I can make a 200 mile loop and see at least 2 or 3 dead deer...4 or 5 dead coons, possums, armadillos, skunks and every now and then coyotes and fox...
What’s surprising is that no one wants to talk about this...not even the antis...I reckon it is because it does not fit their agendas...

Once my friend had an excellent hog dog shot by a deer hunter...the deer hunter was very bold and called the number on the collar...they agreed to meet at Walmart...he threw the dog on the parking lot and said he was running cows...

We knew the dog was cow broke...we took video of dogs walking through cow herds and went to court armed with video...long story short judge didn’t care to see video...she said we should’ve had our dogs on leash...we lost but they missed work as I did...and he paid to have a lawyer to represent him...

The only logical explanation is that she was kinfolk of friends with someone on the defensive side...or she was an anti...
