Well, father time (Joel) is headed home. As usual it was a good visit and good company. We didn't get to do as much hunting and didn't hunt as hard as we have  in the past. This ole disease was whipping my butt so I didn't have much kick. We probably  caught 25 or 30 while he was here though. We did get to talk dogs a lot and pick each others brains. He's a good dog man, especially when it comes to the bulldogs. He's been around it in depth for a long time. He got to see Kyle less masculine side too. He got to hear and be a part of lots of trash talk like Kyle giving Dillian the blues about his catch dog when he missed one, calling him the toothless wonder, or when we were giving Kyle hell about his ole gyp having a Bob cat up a persimmon tree, when she really didn't, but he doesn't know any different because he wasn't there to dispute it. When he started calling her in for the second time, I said here let me call her and I hollered "meow, meow, meow" lol, it wasn't but just a few minutes later and she popped out of the woods. We had a good time. I'm ready for his next trip already. This is him and his pup Deuce. You can almost read the thoughts on ole Deuce's face. Looks like he's thinking " are you my owner?" Are you alive? Hello?!! Somebody may want to come check on this old dude! Lol safe travels my friend!

Father time is stuck in Colorado with all the roads closed in front of me. I put Duece in the crate with Gus to keep him warm last night. How many of you can put a 11 week old pup in the crate with your catchdog. As a bulldog guy it scares the bejesus out of me but ol Gus has proved himself. I saw 18 semis flopped over between Quanah and the Ok. border yesterday. Bad wind. Hoping I can get outta here soon.
