That’s a great looking gyp. What’s her breeding? How do you expect the pups to turn out?

She is half catahoula half plott catahoula side of her is out of a family of dogs that's been raised right here for long time plott side goes back to some pocahontas plotts. She has good bit of hunt in her she finds lots of hogs and knows how to get one stopped and keep him bayed till I get there not rough at all will put her teeth in a running hog but right back to baying soon as he turns around she is a pretty smart gyp she will run one all day long to if she needs to. Bred her to a cur male that's out of long tight line bred family they have a lot hunt decent noses and lots of bottom not rough dogs will put teeth in one to make him stop then right back to baying. Hopefully cross will work well get some puppies with lot of hunt and go good  noses and the know how to stop and bay a hog till I get there. We will see how they turn out

I have heard nothing but good things about Courtney's HD dog, that is honey buns sire, correct?, if so that wouldn't be a bad cross to taker her back to him, the litter mate that I have of hers has a good nose on him, I never used him on hogs, my father in law liked him from day one and used him to find cattle, now that he's the manager of the stock yard and doesn't have time to go "cow hunting" I may try and convert him on hogs...
