Made a hunt close to the house this morn after work since kiddos were outta school. Decided to leave my better dogs at home and take the younger ones that have been doing well. Had couple buddies come along also and they brought few too that are also young. Turned em loose and had a heck of a bay within 3 minutes! Hog never moved, bayed him in his bed! Got to em real quick but boar had already done some serious damage!!! Needless to say we went through 2 staples guns and a few suture kits!!! Big THANKS goes out to my buddy, Ronald Garrett, for stopping what he had going on and met me at the house to help sew up dogs. Hopefully they all heal up, couple of em will be out a while. Hog only weighed around 150# wh 2” cutters.....worst kind to bay!

Hope all your dogs make it alright. The worst pigs are the smaller bodied ones with big teeth, those are the dog killers

Thanks guys. My Cajun plott gyp and my male plott cross I made a few years ago are both doing lots better but I lost my Boss dog. Apparently he had intestinal damage we couldn’t see. Glad I went back and got head off of boar instead of barring him.
