Made a couple hunts the past few days, a buddy and myself decided to make a lap Thursday afternoon and caught a 3 legged boar hog then managed to bury his buggy and took a bit to get it out, soon as we got it free we turned back loose and caught a big piggy sow. Marked and turned both of em back and called it a day. Friday morning we went after em again and got in the hogs early, caught a sow and a young boar then caught a 140ish boar and called it a day. Saturday morning was about the same as friday, we started out with a pretty decent boar hog that we cut and sent on it's way then we bayed another good sow, called the dogs off of her and moved on to another part of the lease. turned out again and had split bays going pretty quick, we bayed a barr hog around 120lbs and got him caught and turned back out then hurried to our buddy who had a good boar bayed, sent some help to him and got that hog caught....before we could get him cut and released we had 2 more bays going, I called my pair off of their bay so we could hurry and get around to my buddies dogs that had been bayed for quite a while. We pulled up to 100yds from them and could smell boar hog from where we stopped, sent the bulldog and caught a nice 150ish red spotted waddled boar hog, cut him and sent him on his way and called it good for the day. Only got a couple pictures but we had a pretty good couple days in the woods catching 10 total in a combine 9-10hrs of hunting between 3 days.

I Appreciate it fellas. Some people love em and some people hate em but these yella dogs I have keep me in the hogs and keep me happy (most of the time  Grin), I can grab any pair of em and know that I have a good chance of seeing pork when I turn em loose. I have been working alot more this season on putting a legitimate handle on them and boy has it made things easy, I love a smart dog. I've been asked a couple times why I would call my dogs off of a hog and been told that "it will ruin them" and that it is "stupid" I just laugh and go about my business, I am in the woods to work my dogs and have a good time. I don't kill but maybe 6-8 hogs a year total and a couple of those come during deer season when I need pork to mix with my deer meat. If I walk into a bay and see a barr hog or sow.....or a boar for that matter that I don't need/want to put my hands on then I call em off and move on to the next hog.....  I can honestly say that it hasn't hurt my dogs a bit and man does it make life easy.
