I have a usmc 10” kabar. I took a grinding wheel and then a knife sharpener and gave it a dual edge for the first 2” past the tip. It works really well. Normally I carry a Schrade F21 survival knife. It’s my favorite. Very small and compact, very sharp with a needle point. My only complaint is that it can be a little small for killing a big boar with a thick shield.
