I have been giving my dogs the Conserve SC for fleas this year. Is it safe to use on pregnant females?

I wouldn’t do it, I don’t like giving my pregnant gyps any form of medication.

Most oral preventions aren’t recommended for pregnant/lactating dogs. Actual Advantage is safe, it’s a topical flea prevention. NOT Hartz or Sargents or Adams. Or “same ingredients as Advantage” products. Petsmart or petco probably have real Advantage.

I've given it to a lactating female but the pups were two weeks old, I didn't want to but they were eat up when I got them and I didn't want to contaminate my place, I give it to the mother and the next morning there wasn't a flea to be found on her or the pups, I don't give it to pregnant dogs and normally don't have to deal with a gyp with pups having them either....

I have not got the conserve yet, I’m planning on trying it when I run out of dominion. I just got rid (mostly) of a bad flea problem. I put some on a gyp with 1.5 week old puppies and was a little skeptical but they’re fat and healthy and don’t have fleas now.
