Me and my buddy decided to make an early evening hunt due to the cooler weather we recently had. We hunted for a couple hours with no luck and decided to try one more spot and it played off, my flip dog eased off into a nasty little thicket and bayed not 100yds off the road then we heard the hit and could tell it was a big hog, he rolled up flip and started coming straight to us, flips brother willie and
Josh's pup met him head on got him stopped in a big ditch barely 60yds ahead of us right off the side of our main road. Josh sent the bulldog and I got my hands on him. I looked up at my flip dog and he was leaking pretty good so I hollered the other 2 dogs off and got Josh to put a bullet in him so we could get out of the ditch and tend to the dogs. Flip will be fine in a week or two and the free,or is full again, cant complain.

Nice catch, I forgot to add that, yes he had 1 wattle. Had he been in a bit better shape and had both i believe i would have out him on the wall.

Per our records we originally caught this hog Feb 7th of 2017 as a roughly 80lb boar pig. He put on some serious weight in 2 years and 4 months. Pretty cool to see just how much they will grow when you let them.

Awesome bar Justin, I can’t remember if this is the one you sent me the pictures of a few days ago. I haven’t been on here in a few weeks and am trying to read through everything I’ve missed, lol. I hope Flip heals up quick. You can always send him up this way if he needs some extended R & R, haha.

His niece and nephew are fitting in just fine around here. She’s a lot smaller than the male. They both have been tearing some hog meat up and love running the yard
