Buddy had hit a big hog the other night in some corn and couldn’t finish him so we tried to put my dogs out on him early this morning. All this country is heavily helicopter hunted and about 5 different guys have right to this big farm on the brazos just as far as dogs go, so it’s tough hunting usually. Tried the field the big hog was in and not even a track. Sunrise went and hunted the hills and dogs never pushed on anything. Go make one more round in a different field. Dogs started pushing back there and we found a good track. After about 45 minutes they put a hog up along the river in some terribly thick grapevine and blood weeds. He broke for the river which isn’t but 300 yards at most. They shut him back down and bayed. Broke for the river a second time and they turned him, watched him run right in front of us and they sent him back to the corn about 100 yards in and stood on his head. We walked right in on top of him and busted him. Sketch Rocky Blue and Shadow turned it up on him. me and my cousin

Hunting in heavily hunted areas, you are hunting the survivors. Good dog work. Sounds like our spots. lol
