A week to go in our alligator season and I can’t keep these suckers from stealing my bait. Luckily they were jaw hooked and I was able to unhook and release them... a 7 footer and 6 footer. I’m even hanging the bait 2 foot above the water which is 3-4 foot deep.

Eat them and get the heads mounted... the tail meat, jelly rolls(tenderloins) and the cheek meat is some fine eatin’!

I put chicken quarters in a ziplock bag, pour a beer over them and let them sit in the heat a couple of days... they’re pretty ripe when I bait the hook haha!

Is there a minimum size limit or are you just after a larger lizard? Oh yeah, I don’t like those things, that is all.

Thanks... we caught a little boar hog out of a group Saturday. Dogs left out after we got our hands on him and I toned 3 off 3 different tracks before they crossed the highway...
