We hit the river last night Brought Rye, Hambone, Dozer and His little Sister Zena. Bone and Rye winded and I sent them they went in 400 and caught a sow then relayed off her on this Barr we were trying to stay within range best we could on foot at a half mile in they got 1.10 from me and were headed straight for a big canal so I headed back to boat with Dozer . Dwayne and Charlie stayed after them on foot with Zena it took me awhile to finally get around in front of them on boat but I ran to within  400yds on that damn lizzard infested canal.I called Dwayne and Charlie and they were 400 on the opposite side Dwayne sounded real serious and said you need to get in here asap they had laid eyes on him once already and sent Zena the yr old bulldog pup and she got thrown in the air 10ft they watched him get Rye down and he broke they said Rye was already cut to shreds but she stayed after him ,they got him stopped again and were hammering.I said call when you get to them again and I'll send Dozer I'm coming in.So I headed in with Dozer through a 10ft wall of stick marsh they call when I'm still over 200 away and say they're looking at him I send Dozer and hear him hit on my way in. Dozer sucked him up and they sent Zena right after. I know folks say it all the time but pics really don't do him justice he was pushing 400# for sure and definitely top 3 of any I've laid hands on.Ryes gonna be out for a few weeks but man she's coming off being laid up for so long like a dang shot couldn't be more proud of the dogs.

Cracker that's a real nice hog. It makes even a bad hunt bearable when you can be proud of your dogs.

Thanks yall I'm just glad they got him stopped before that canal it was 50ft across with steep banks and hundreds of eyes in every direction.I lost communication on them so I had no control of the situation.

Glad to hear it. I’m glad ol Dozer has made a hand for  you too. Them dadgum lizards you fellows have would separate the men from the boys. I can’t imagine what that’s like.

Word to ya momma. I’m out on the whole alligator deal. I’d have to pick up on doing puzzles or something for fun if I lived where they were thick like some of you boys got em.
