Man dont even talk about marsh hunting, I am itching to get out in the salt marsh as soon as these stupid lizzards go away.

While gator hunting this year we went about 2 1/2 miles down one stretch out where I hog hunt and counted a little over 50 lizzards.  I put a small dent in the population though.  Them lizzards underestimated my harpoon chunking abilities. Evil

Good luck!

i tell you what, catching 5-6 in the marsh is like catching 20+ on hard ground.

if you don't have an airboat for some of those places, it can get real bad...real quick.

something about those marsh hogs.....They run a lot faster than hard ground hogs...something in the blood. RUSSIANS..............

i usually catch 3 and that's about all the marsh and cane i can handle.

good luck..

Well the big hunt is over but I think I might go again in the morning. Well to start the morning off turned couple dogs loose and they went about 400 yards and bayed up, well before I got thier they caught it was a shoat. So we loaded dogs up and went to another area and seen a good hog cutting across the grass so turned my yellow dog loose and he went the wrong way and sat down bayed about 40 yards in a cane break . So I turned my other 2 young dogs loose and they was working a good bar it tured out to be . then it was hit or miss after that but one fun thing was while we was tying 1 hog my red dog bayed and ran another hog write by us as he went around us he didnt go around the bulldog that was plum funny
