Does that track belong to the hog in picture?

Regardless that is a good pig...

What’s the story of hunt? I like to hear about those long races...

Thanks guys

Ruben- yes sir tht is his track
I only took that picture to pick with ol boy round here - and I only took it after I knew my Ol snake dog could smell it - but he ain’t got to know tht part lol

So this should be the last bigger hog on this place - there should only be one hog left and he should be bout 100 lbs
The farmer and us keep close tabs on this or I would never ever put this on the World Wide Web for everyone to see - we have hunted this place hard  this summer - if u scroll back and look at few of the hogs I have put on here-  a lot of them are colored just like this one / now more hogs can move in here any given day and then we’ll hunt them to but for now we pretty much got em

We’ve hunted this place for several years - hogs come in and stay -we hunt em and catch em and or they leave bout like most places  but this is a deer dog club so you know them trashy walkers run the fire out of the hogs when they here so it makes it Lil more challenging for us lol

Seen the track and put snake on it -
Two fields side by side - split by a 350 yard thick thick branch - along the back of both fields and branch for miles and miles is creek bottom- now these hogs always run bout the same way and paths bout like every where else
Hang on got to pick up a dove ......
Snake took the track and went through branch to other field and I was thinking well this may not be good bet he went cross tht field to - well snake. Got right to edge of field and he barked one time
And shot straight cross field - thought tht was kinda strange and knew he shouldn’t bump deer - I said let’s go check this out- sur nuff - the hog was at edge of field and ran all the way across and the race was on- I let snake run him for a while then went and had to walk down in creek with my jemima dog and put her on the track a good bit behind but she pretty fast  I figure she could catch up and she did - I normally would not do tht- another dove lol
Anyway they ran up the creek down the creek and got to a point I was able to slide down creek and put my Pete dog down- Pete got in with them and and they went round and round a cutover and back to creek - he didn’t go as far as normal because they had him stretched out this am - when we tied him he was pretty easy he was done
They bayed him only bout 10 mins for we was able to get to em with bulldog
As crow flies he did 5 miles but with loops and all I wouldn’t be scared to say 7 to 8 miles
I know folks may run em farther than tht but tht is a pretty good lil run for my lil ol sorry pot lickers - I have ran hogs good bit more than that but not bad for in this heat
To jump a hog and he run like that and bay and catch him- it don’t get any better than tht to me
