Well I have a new litter out of my Fancy gyp. I have high hopes for this litter. I'm expecting 75-95 lbs dogs at maturity. I can't find a reason for them to not be extremely athletic and leggy. I might be wrong, I have been once before, but I feel like these could be super nice. I have a female that is a carbon copy of her great great grandfather. He was as good a dog as you could hope for. He was 95 pounds of brains and athlete. He out ran some really catty dogs every throw that were half his size, literally, and would out last them when playing ball. We was kept with the chickens and would not put teeth on them but killed 2 chicken hawks and tore into the pigeon pen one night and killed an owl. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

Cajun they go back pretty heavy to dog that was bred for pulling in Oklahoma. A man named John Bettes raised him and his name was Bettes' Big Head. He was a registered APBT but it was pretty well known that he had American in him. I believe if memory serves me correct, he was 88 pounds when he set the world record. He was a really nice looking dog build wise. Mr. Bettes hog hunted also so I'm sure Big Head had the opportunity to catch at some point. I was fortunate enough to acquire a male dog that went back to Big Head. At that time I didn't know who Big Head was. I learned that when I started researching the pedigree. The dog that I got has never been bested in my eyes. When I say a freak of nature, I mean a freak, 90 pounds of it. Superman would be the closest super hero to compare him to. He was that fast, that strong, smart, great disposition, could derail a train and stand it back up. You could see every muscle he was just so naturally lean. I still to this day have people ask me about him that only saw him a time or two. Absolutely the hardest biting dog I've seen. He was as natural a catch dog as you can get. He had NEVER seen a hog the first time I carried him to the woods. The 2 find dogs were bayed on the top of the river bank in the clear. We were watching from about 150 yards away. He wanted to go to them so I let him. He went as hard as he could and never broke stride when he hit. Him and the hog rolled down the river bank and into the water. When i got to them he was eared up and would not let go. They would go under and come up in another spot but he'd still have ahold. I jumped in and got them and the rest is history.  I sure miss that dog, he was my buddy hunting or not. His registered name was Widowmaker but we called him Simba. Sorry I got a little long winded.

This gyp is about 75 pounds. This is the sire of the pups with her. He is about 95 to 100 pounds. My buddy said he weighed 102 at the vet but he was fat then. I think 95 is about where he was in this picture.

I had one out of the highway stuff. I was going to get into at. Pulling over 15 years back. He ended up being my house dog. He ended staying small for the line and was all muscle. A solid temperament and no dog aggression. I am not a computer guy or would post pictures.

Well, they may never catch a hog, but Mr Biscuit better watch out because they hongry! Growing fast and already I see a lot I like about them. I have one that is a little smaller that I could call the runt but I even like her. They are already showing that they catch on very fast and seem like they are going to have good natures. Time will tell!
