I was on the northern edge of all the training bands of rain last night. Didn’t realize how much had fallen overnight. Tried driving into work this morning and all the roads were under water about 10 miles north of Cleveland.

Been raining about as hard as I’ve ever seen for a few hours and still pouring down right now with flash flood warnings till 1:30 am...all city water pumps are running and so are the spares trying to get ahead as much as possible...

Been going all day here in Vidor trying to help. It’s just as bad if not worse than Harvey in some spots! Lot of people flooding..

Couldn’t get to work today due to flooding, hoping tomorrow is a little better. Also hoping my dogs don’t develop skin rash like in Harvey. They all got a rain rot type infection then, fortunately we haven’t gotten the rain at the house so far like in Harvey so fingers crossed....

Dodged the bullet on Chocolate bayou this go round it seems. Touch and go earlier, so I brought all the dogs to work with me tonight so momma wouldn’t have to mess with them in case of evacuation. I guess I’ll make the best of it and toss them on a hog track in the morning if the coffee kicks in right.
